The airline involved in this month's accident at Cork Airport has announced that it will no longer fly on the route between Cork and Belfast.

Manx2 said the decision followed an operational review of the route, undertaken in the wake of the the accident at Cork Airport on 10 February 2011.

The company said that in order to minimise the impact to passenger travel plans, the service will be maintained until Sunday 13 March.

All passengers booked to travel on the Belfast/Cork service on or after 14 March 2011 will be given a full refund.

All other flights including Belfast to Blackpool, the Isle of Man and Anglesey will continue as scheduled.
