Gardaí investigating the disappearance of a 30-year-old man in Dublin two months ago have recovered a body from a field in Co Kildare.
The body which was found by a farmer in a drain this morning has been removed to Naas Hospital for a post mortem.
Jason O'Dea from Buckingham Street in Dublin went missing on 29 November. The father-of-one was homeless and known to have a drug problem.
Gardaí say there were no visible signs of injury on the body recovered today.
A preliminary examination by the Deputy State Pathologist was carried out at the scene and the post mortem will take place tomorrow.
