Aer Lingus has said that it intends to operate its full flight schedule tomorrow.
The airline has also hired planes from other carriers, bringing the total to nine.
Passengers flying with Aer Lingus today faced disruption as the company had cancelled 34 flights due to the cabin crew roster dispute.
The cancellations affected 2,700 passengers on 17 routes from Dublin to the UK and Continental Europe.
Transatlantic flights were not affected today.
The airline says that 82 staff have now been removed from the payroll for refusing to operate new rosters, which management introduced without agreement on Monday.
The cabin crew union IMPACT insists that the new rosters break agreements.
It says the rosters will make life intolerable for staff and it has asked for the Labour Court to intervene in the four-day dispute.
IMPACT members will hold a general meeting tonight to discuss the dispute.
It has already submitted 28 discrimination claims to the Equality Tribunal.
Aer Lingus says the new rosters are permitted under agreements.
It has refused to engage in any further talks, describing such proposals as a cynical attempt by the union to backtrack.
Meanwhile, Ryanair has confirmed that Aer Lingus is hiring four planes from it in order to maintain its schedule during the ongoing cabin crew dispute.
It is understood that the leases will be at prices below market rates.
Ryanair has said it was prepared to make more planes available if required.
Ryanair is a major shareholder in Aer Lingus, owning almost 30% of the airline.
