The bodies of a man and a woman have been recovered from the Grand Canal in Dublin.
Both are believed to be in their late 20s.
The discovery, at Suir Road in Inchicore, was made shortly after midday by a member of the public.
Gardaí have preserved the scene for a technical examination.
Post mortem examinations are due to take place tomorrow.
