A large crowd is attending the Bank of Ireland art sale which is taking place in Dublin this evening.
The sale had to be moved from Adams Showrooms to the Shelbourne Hotel to accommodate the crowds.
Among the works sold were Louis le Brocquy's 'Study Towards an Image of James Joyce', which had a reserve of €50,000-€70,000 and sold for €50,000.
Gerard Dillon's 'Out with the Nets' had a reserve of €25,000-€35,000 and sold for €50,000, while a Sean Keating self-portrait sold for €32,000.
