Gardaí have visited the scene of a fire at a landfill near Naas in Co Kildare tonight.
This is the second blaze at the Kerrdiffstown facility - which is connected to one of Dublin's largest waste firms, A1 Waste.
The scene has also been visited by an officer of the Environmental Protection Agency - the organization which is involved in multiple legal actions regarding the landfill.
Tonight's fire, which was located at a building on the landfill site, is reported to be smaller than the previous outbreak.
Kerrdiffstown is the most complained about landfill in the country, with over 200 complaints being lodged with the EPA.
Many residents have claimed they have vomited as a result of the odours coming from the site.
Legal action is ongoing.
