More than 3,000 people have attended an emigration expo in the RDS in Dublin today.
Queues formed outside the venue as people waited to get information on emigrating.
The expo connected prospective emigrants with recruiters and visa experts from Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Those countries are seeking to attract skilled immigrants including nurses, HGV drivers, tradesmen, engineers, bakers and speech and language therapists.
Those who turned up were given advice on visa requirements, pay rates and the cost of living.
The expo will be open again tomorrow from 11am until 4pm and the entrance fee is €10.
