A meeting of the Seanad committee investigating expense claims made by Independent Senator Ivor Callely has been adjourned for the day.
Members of the committee met for two hours in private in Leinster House today.
They were considering mobile phone expenses and the disclosure of property interests by the Senator.
A statement following the meeting said that the committee was still considering matters before it and will meet again tomorrow.
In July, Senator Calley was suspended from the Upper House for 20 days without pay - that suspension is due to take effect from tomorrow.
