Almost 30 years after he went missing, Charlie Armstrong - one of the disappeared - has been laid to rest in south Armagh.

The remains of the father-of-five were found in bogland in Co Monaghan in July after a map was sent anonymously to the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims Remains.

Mr Armstrong's body was returned to his family for burial earlier this week.

During the homily, Bishop Gerard Clifford said Mr Armstrong's loved ones had never given up hope that his body would be found. He said today was a day of relief.
