The examiner to Aer Arann, Michael McAteer of Grant Thornton, has said there have been over 14 expressions of interest in the airline.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland, Mr McAteer said he is confident they will have an investment party coming to the fore very soon.
He said Irish airlines are not interested in the company but there is interest from the overseas aviation sector.
He said the model of the company has changed to be a regional flyer, and that part of the company is the future and is profitable.
