Bord na Móna workers, who had been suspended for three weeks at Lough Ree power plant in Co Longford, have returned to work.
23 of the 40 workers, suspended after unofficial industrial action, returned this morning.
It is understood 19 workers are still on strike.
Bord na Móna hopes to re-open the transport of mill peat to the power station in the next seven days.
The power station has been closed for an overhaul over the course of the last four months.
Workers had claimed they were owed money for loss of earnings during the period when the power station was closed.
