An air and sea search is underway off the county Cork coast tonight for a kayaker who is believed to have got into difficulty.
The search is being conducted in the Allihies area of the Beara Peninsula.
The Shannon-based coastguard helicopter and the Castletownbere lifeboat are at the scene.
