Thousands of householders have been warned about faulty cookers that may cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
Despite an extensive media campaign last year and attempts by manufacturers to locate the potentially dangerous gas cookers, at least 3,000 of 7,500 appliances have yet to be located and modified.
The recall refers to certain models of Beko, Flavel, Leisure and New World gas cookers with a separate oven and grill.
According to the National Consumer Agency, the appliances could cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
The risk of poisoning occurs when the grill is used and the compartment door is kept closed.
At least six deaths here and in the UK have been linked to the appliances being used in this way.
