Gardaí are investigating a fire which caused extensive damage to a wood processing factory in Aughrim, Co Wicklow, in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze at the Woodfab premises has been brought under control and there are no reports of any injuries.
A spokesperson from the Woodfab Group said the fire had caused very serious damage.
The company employs 65 full-time staff, and 65 to 70 contractors.
The spokesperson said the fire broke out at about 1.30am.
The cause of the blaze is not known.
