One week after announcing 500 jobs at the new terminal in Dublin Airport, the DAA says that over 9,000 job applications have so far been received.
Terminal 2 will open in November, but the first interviews for the 500 jobs are due to take place next week in order to allow for staff training and orientation.
The new employees will be involved in tasks such as security, cleaning, customer service, and passenger processing.
