Up to 120 insurance jobs have been promised as Zurich Insurance expands its operations in Ireland.
Zurich Insurance is recruiting for one of the company's European centres in Dublin.
For almost two years now the group has been engaged in a recruitment drive for its Irish operations.
Already this year 120 jobs have been filled at its new business centre in Wexford.
A further 120 people will be hired before the end of the year at the company's two European centres in Dublin.
The company, which employs 60,000 people worldwide, said that it had considered a number of possible locations, but Ireland had won out because of its participation in the euro, and its highly educated and skilled workforce.
This will bring the number of people employed by the firm in Ireland to 1,100.
