114 people are reported to have been killed in a fire in a residential area in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka.
The death toll is expected to rise as rescue workers continue to search the debris.
There are more than 40 people being treated for burns, with 12 of those being described as in critical condition.
It is understood the fire was started by an explosion in an electrical transformer and quickly spread to nearby buildings.
The blaze was the worst in the capital since 1971, the Dhaka fire brigade said.
The Bangladeshi government declared tomorrow a day of mourning and said it would pay $290 towards the cost of each burial.
