Seven people have appeared before a special sitting of the Bridewell District Court in Dublin charged with public order offences.

The seven were arrested after around 80 people from the Republican group Eirigí took part in a demonstration outside the Dublin headquarters of Anglo Irish Bank to protest against NAMA.

Six people have been released on bail while one man was remanded in custody.

A banner was unfurled on the roof of the building's foyer at St Stephen's Green during the demonstration.
