6.4 magnitude quake hits Indonesia

A 6.4 magnitude quake has hit Indonesia's North Maluku province, the local Meteorological and Geophysics agency said.

There were no immediate reports of damage and no tsunami alert was issued.

The quake struck at a depth of 30km, 155km southeast of the town of Labuha at 2.41pm (local time), according to the agency.
