McDonald’s fast food chain is to create 250 jobs in four new restaurants by the end of the year.
The company say the expansion highlights the resilience of their business despite the recession.
75% of the new jobs will be full-time with the remainder 'full-time equivalents'.
Three of the new restaurants will be in Dublin.
McDonald’s already has 78 restaurants in Ireland and these new jobs will bring the number of employees up to 3,850.
