Two people have died in separate crashes in Dublin and on the M7 in Laois.
In Finglas, a man died following a single-vehicle crash.
The accident happened at the junction of Kilshane Drive and Ratoath Road at around 2.10am this morning.
Elsewhere, a woman died after a traffic accident on the M7 at Meelick near Portlaoise.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash at about 12.45am his morning.
A number of people travelling in the other vehicles were injured.
