Aer Lingus has announced that it is setting up a new subsidiary to maintain its fleet of planes.
The new division - Aer Lingus (Ireland) Ltd - will include 96 former workers at SR Technics.
These are to be transferred to Aer Lingus after an agreement with SRT, which closed earlier this year, with the loss of more than 1,000 jobs.
The airline has also reached agreement with the Dublin Airport Authority for a long-term licence to use SRT's Hangar 6 facilities at the airport, which are to be transferred to the DAA.
