Three hospitalised after M50 collision

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a truck on the M50 southbound in Dublin.

A truck jack-knifed at around 12.30pm this afternoon between junctions five and six (Finglas and Blanchardstown exits respectively).

The road has since reopened.

The driver of the articulated truck was trapped in his overturned vehicle following the accident.

He is being treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.
