An investigation is under way following the death of a six-year-old girl in Co Derry.
Tia Nagurski fell from a tree near her home in the Ballymagroarty area of the city at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.
She was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital in a critical condition where she died a short time later.
It is believed she may have been electrocuted after touching overhead lines.
A local Sinn Féin councillor said that power lines are running through the branches of many trees in the area.
Northern Ireland Electricity says it is co-operating fully with the police investigation.
