An Iraqi journalist jailed for hurling his shoes at former US president George W Bush in December last year is due to be released next month.
Muntadhar al-Zaidi was initially sentenced to three years in prison.
However, the court reduced the sentence to one year because they said the journalist had no prior criminal history.
Mr al-Zaidi’s lawyer said his client’s sentence was being reduced for good behaviour, and he will be released three months early.
