It has been revealed that thousands of customers in Northern Ireland have been overcharged for their water supplies.
A total of 5,400 non-domestic customers have been overcharged by Northern Ireland Water, some by as much as £4,000.
Those overcharged include businesses, schools, charities, churches and farms.
The water supplier said it would be dealing with individual customers to arrange a refund.
In addition, a further 2,500 customers were undercharged for their water supplies.
The error is expected to result in a revenue loss to Northern Ireland Water of £250,000.
