Gardaí said the new IKEA store in Ballymun, Dublin, was evacuated this afternoon after a fire alarm was set off by mistake.

Traffic in the area was said to be busy as cars left the store following the incident.

The Swedish home furnishings giant, which first opened the store two days ago, reopened shortly after the false alarm.
