A memorial mass has been held in Roscrea this evening for Dr Aisling Butler, one of the Irish passengers on the Air France jet that crashed last week.
The 26-year-old was a native of Ballinakill in Roscrea.
Ms Butler and her two friends, Jane Deasy from Dublin and Eithne Walls from Northern Ireland, were all passengers on the plane which disappeared while travelling from Rio De Janeiro to Paris.
Meanwhile, the first bodies recovered from the Air France plane which crashed into the Atlantic last week have arrived in Brazil.
Officials say 24 bodies have now been recovered from the sea. A total of 228 people were on the plane when it went down on the first of June.
Investigators hope they can use dental records and DNA tests to confirm identities.
A Brazilian navy ship recovered the tail fin of the Air France Airbus A330 yesterday and is bringing it to shore.
It is seen as the most important piece yet recovered from the plane.
No distress call was received from the pilots.
The plane's black boxes were mounted in the tail section, and the fin's location could narrow the underwater search for those devices by a French submarine expected to arrive in the zone on tomorrow.
