A man and a woman have died in separate road crashes in Mayo and Limerick this evening.
A woman in her 50s was killed when her car collided with another vehicle on the N5 at Bahola, the main road between Westport and Dublin.
Two other people were also injured, but their injuries are not described as life threatening.
The road is currently closed pending a garda forensic collision investigation.
In Limerick, a man was killed in a crash on the N69 at Kildimo.
The 23-year-old was a passanger in a car invloved in a two-car collision on the main Limerick to Kerry Road at around 6pm.
A another man was injured in the accident.
