A 23-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash in Co Offaly yesterday afternoon.
The collision took place shortly before 3pm on the R401 Edenderry to Kinnegad Road, at Carrick Road.
Meanwhile, three people have been taken to hospital after an accident on the Luas Red Line at Jervis St in Dublin city centre this morning.
Three ambulances were called to the scene of a collision between a taxi and a car at around 5.20am.
The first Luas was delayed by 30 minutes as a result.
Elsewhere, a 10-year-old girl has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Co Tipperary.
The incident happened at Cuirt An Rí in Clonmel at around 8.10pm last night.
It is understood the child was hit by the car after running out from behind another car.
