34 jobs are to be lost in Limerick with the closure of one of the mid west's best known car sales business.
Pat Keogh Limited, who specialise in BMW sales, has closed and gone into liquidation.
A company spokesperson said today that the closure was as a result of very difficult trading conditions.
He said that sales of new cars had fallen by up to 80% in the last six months and a liquidator is to be appointed shortly.
Pat Keogh Motors has been a family run business for the last 45 years, and a BMW dealer for the last 40 years in Limerick.
