Dublin's business community is forming a partnership with a city centre drug project to help improve the quality of life and conditions of drug users.
The Dublin City Business Improvement District is basing its partnership with the Ana Liffey Drug Project on a successful model in New York.
As part of the initiative an eight-seater van will be handed over to the project by the business community today.
It will be used to bring drug users to medical appointments and a drop-in centre.
