Two men who were stranded on Lugnaquilla Mountain in Wicklow have been taken to Tallaght Hospital by separate helicopters.
They are now being treated in the accident and emergency department.
Efforts to airlift the men were earlier hampered by bad weather.
The men, both in their mid-30s, are from Dublin and Kildare.
They were found on Lugnaquilla Mountain this afternoon after spending last night on the mountain in freezing conditions.
The duo had been walking on the mountain when freezing fog reduced visibility at around 4pm yesterday, the pair dropped their map and were unable to find it.
They raised the alarm initially on a mobile phone and mountain rescue teams had some contact with them through the night and this morning.
Members of the Dublin, Wicklow and Glen of Imaal mountain rescue teams and the Defence Forces searched on foot on the snowy mountain overnight.
The Coast Guard helicopter had searched the mountain twice and assistance was also requested from the mountain rescue service in Wales.
