Some 200 local people have searched lands in and around the home at Kilbrittan of missing West Cork woman Anne Corcoran.
The 60-year-old widow has been missing for 15 days in what gardaí describe as suspicious circumstances.
They say they are very concerned for her wellbeing.
Two garda road checks, one close to Oldchapel where the woman's car was found on Thursday, and the second near Bandon Bridge National School where it was seen last week, were put into operation.
Today is the last day of the pheasant shooting season and gardaí have appealed to shooters to be on the watch for anything unusual.
They have also renewed their appeal for farmers to check lands and outbuildings for the missing woman.
