Six rescued from Dublin fire

Six people were rescued from a fire in north Dublin this morning.

The blaze broke out at North Circular Road at 3.10am this morning.

It is thought a matress caught alight and this was the cause of the fire, although this is not confirmed.

Fire fighters rescued the six occupants, five adults and a child, from a first floor window.

There are no reports of injuries and no-one was taken to hospital.
