A 24-year-old man has died in a road crash in Co Donegal.
The collision between a lorry and a car happened at about 11pm last night on the N15 between Donegal town and Ballybofey.
Earlier there were a number of minor crashes on the R265 Lifford to St Johnstown road at Tullyowen at different times and roughly the same location. The crashes included a single truck crash at 4am, then a two vehicle crash and a three vehicle crash later on.
As a result, between 40 and 50 vehicles were delayed on this route.
Motorists arel urged to avoid any unnecessary journeys as road conditions throughout Co Donegal remain very treacherous.
