At least five people are confirmed dead and another person is missing after a landslide in southern China.
The landslide struck late on Sunday morning in the Fengshan County of Hechi City in northern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Rescue workers said around 21 thousand cubic metres of rock and soil buried 16 buildings, including at least two homes.
Several vehicles were also lost in the rubble as the landslide buried a large stretch of a pivotal highway in the county.
An all-out rescue operation is in full force as rescue workers use heavy machinery to remove the massive piles of rubble from the accident site.
More than 60 villagers have been evacuated from their homes amid fears of further landslides in the area.
There were no reports on the cause of the landslide on Monday.
