A fire at The Square Shopping Centre in Dublin has been put out with no serious damage reported.
The blaze broke out in the pump room of the shopping centre in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.
Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene from 1.30am until just after 3.00am.
The sprinkler system was activated in Dunnes Stores and Debenhams.
Parts of the shopping centre were smoke-filled and fire service personnel required breathing apparatus to battle the blaze.
The incident has been described as major by Dublin Fire Brigade whose work stopped the blaze spreading through the shopping centre.
