A pub in Saggart, Co Dublin, has been destroyed following an overnight fire.
Seven units of the fire brigade were called to Moorehead's Pub, formerly known as Jack Kavanagh's, at 11pm last night.
The fire was brought under control at 1am.
Elsewhere two members of Dublin Fire Brigade were seriously assaulted in two separate incidents in Clontarf this morning.
One crew member was bitten and another was headbutted at 4am and 5am respectively.
The same man was involved in both call-outs.
