A suicide bomber blew himself up at a legislator's house in central Pakistan today, killing seven people.
Rashid Akbar Nowani, a local member of parliament from the party of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, survived the attack.
The attacker walked into a crowd in the town of Bhakkar in Punjab province before detonating explosives strapped to his body.
Around 50 people were wounded in the bombing.
The blast comes four days after a suicide bomber detonated explosives outside the house of a prominent member of Pakistan's ruling coalition in a north-western town, killing four people.
