A group of state employees in Alaska has agreed to testify at an inquiry into alleged abuses of power by US Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
Mrs Palin, who is the state's governor, is accused of removing the Public Safety Commissioner from his post after he refused her request to fire her ex-brother-in-law as a state trooper.
Mrs Palin insists that she removed him over disagreements about budget priorities.
The seven officials had previously refused to testify.
