Galway West Progressive Democrat TD Noel Grealish has said that he will disclose his future political intentions at a party meeting tomorrow night.
In Galway this morning he told RTÉ News that all of the issues relating to whether he was staying with or leaving the party would be clarified at the meeting.
He said he had made it clear all along that he would make no comment about his intentions before sitting down and discussing them with his party colleagues.
The TD added that he looked forward to tomorrow's meeting in Newbridge, Co Kildare.
Asked if he had made up his mind whether he was staying with the party, he made no reply.
Elsewhere in Galway, party leader Ciaran Cannon told RTÉ News that he would be making no comment today.
Minister for Health Mary Harney has reiterated that the Progressive Democrats have hard decisions to make on the future of the party.
Speaking to journalists in Clondalkin in Dublin she said her wish is for the party to continue, but that she has to be realistic about whether or not that is possible.
She refused to comment about weekend reports concerning party members, saying they are matters for discussion at party meetings tomorrow.
