Two viable devices have been found in Northern Ireland.
British army bomb disposal experts dealt with a device which was discovered in a hedge near Jonesboro, Co Armagh yesterday.
The Finnegans Road and Molly Road remain cordoned off while the device is being removed.
Police in Belfast have urged the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious finds after a device found in the north of the city was also described as viable.
A security alert began in the Silverstream Road area yesterday morning after a suspicious object was found outside a house.
Police and army were called to the scene, and the road was closed while the device was examined.
