13 people have been killed and ten others injured in a bomb blast in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.
The blast happened as a Pakistan air force bus passed over a bridge on the outskirts of the city.
It is thought that an improvised explosive device was planted under the bridge and nremotely detonated.
A Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility for the blast.
Pakistan air force officials are gathering information about the attack.
Meanwhile a week-long military operation continues in the Bajaur tribal region, which lies between Peshawar and the Afghan border.
More than a dozen houses were destroyed by helicopter gunships in a region known to be a haven for al-Qaeda and Taliban militants.
