Gardaí have ruled out foul play in the death of a woman who was found dead in her apartment in Castlebar this afternoon.
The post mortem results show the woman died of natural causes.
The women's body was discovered by her landlord at the flat on Station Road in Castlebar earlier today.
The woman was in her 40s and it is believed she may have been dead for some time.
Her body was removed to Mayo General Hospital where State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy carried out a postmortem this evening.
