Over 150 people who were due to depart to Larnaca in Cyprus have been left without a flight after Irish tour operator Fáilte Travel ceased trading with immediate effect.
Tomorrow morning's flight from Dublin to Paphos in Cyprus is also cancelled. The cancellation of that flight affects 107 passengers.
133 passengers were due to arrive into Dublin from Larnaca tonight. As that flight is also cancelled, they have been put up in a hotel for the night.
Tomorrow's return flight from Paphos to Dublin with 129 passengers is also cancelled.
The Commission for Aviation Regulation is working to make alternative arrangements to brings these stranded passengers home.
The Commission says full refunds will be given and have urged intending travellers to keep their receipts as proof of any expense incurred.
Passengers who have booked through Fáilte Travel to travel next week - thought to number over 1,000 - are also asked to contact the Commission for Aviation Regulation at www.aviationreg.ie to secure refunds.
