Chad - Irish troops prepare for main peacekeepers

A plane bringing troops home from Chad has arrived back in Dublin following a delay of some 50 hours.

The flight, carrying 50 rangers and 60 military construction personnel, was held up due to a technical problem with the chartered aircraft.

The troops have been in Chad since February preparing the way for the main group of 400 Irish peacekeepers who have recently taken up duty there.
