The board of Bus Éireann has decided not to appeal last week's record fine of €2m imposed on the company following the Kentstown bus crash in which five young girls died.
Following the board meeting it was also decided that the company should release the internal report into the fatal crash.
However, it is not expected this will happen for a number of months until legal issues have been finalised regarding this report.
