Almost 100 people took part in a lunchtime protest at South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel today.
Staff at the hospital are objecting to bed closures in the facility over the coming months.
The protest, which was organised by members of the IMPACT trade union, took place at 1pm today with no disruption to services at the hospital.
There is also anger at the fact that some staff positions are being left vacant, according to a union spokesperson.
