A suspected suicide bombing in Pakistan has killed at least 13 people.
Several more people were wounded in the blast in the northwestern city of Mardan.
Bashir Bilour, a senior minister for North West Frontier Province, said the attack may have been designed to disrupt peace talks in Pakistan's lawless tribal belt.
The blast happened outside a bakery near a military base in the city, which has experienced several attacks blamed on pro-Taliban Islamist militants in recent months.
